(July 16) Additional information... Sunday Park and Ride service on route 77 will run at 15 minute intervals between 0900 and 1800. Sunday route 8A will be renumbered 4A. A new Nightrider ticker is introduced which acts like a Dayrider but is only valid from 7pm, it costs £2 and is also valid on the Friday/Saturday N1/N2 night-bus services.

(July 18) Additional info - the changes to 31-35 are postponed until September, and may therefore take a different form when they do take place.

Citi 1 Service between Fulbourn Tesco and Fulbourn reduced to 20 minutes (ie alternate buses will head back to Arbury from Fulbourn Tesco).
(Update: Jul 16). First bus from Arbury now 0555 instead of 0605. Service is every 20 minutes until the 0705 departure, and then every 10 minutes until 1825. Then 1845, 1905 and then at 35 and 05 until 2305. Between 0705 and 1825 the 05, 25 and 45 services terminate at Fulbourn Tesco instead of continuing to Fulbourn. The Sunday service is unchanged.
Coming in from Fulbourn Tesco the pattern is 0640, then every 20 minutes until 0720. 0730 and every 10 minutes until 1840. Then 1900, 1915 and then 45 and 15 until 2245. All 00, 20 and 40 journeys from 0700 on start at Fulbourn Six Bells 15 minutes earlier. Once into the evening pattern all services run over the whole route.
Citi 2 Some early and late journeys withdrawn. An hourly evening service will be introduced subject to funding by the City council.
Citi 4 Extended through Science Park into Kings Hedges to the Meadows Centre (replacing 16/17, see below). An hourly evening service between Kings Hedges and the Beehive Centre will be introduced subject to funding by the City council.
Citi 5 An hourly evening service will be introduced subject to funding by the City council. In the evenings it will run via Mill Road and Coleridge Road instead of Hills Road (covering part of 8A, see below).
Citi 6 New half-hourly service replacing the 12, 16 and 17, running between Oakington and Fulbourn (via Teversham). The route is not certain at this point but includes Oakington, Girton, City Centre, Hills Road, Cherry Hinton Road, Fulbourn Tesco, Teversham, Fulbourn. It will not call at the Grafton Centre as the 16/17 presently do. Note that no evening service is proposed on this route.
8A If the evening services on Citi 2,4 and 5 are introduced this route will be withdrawn Monday-Saturday, but still run on Sundays as route 4A.
12 This service is subsumed within the new Citi 6 and extended out to Fulbourn.
16/17 These services will be withdrawn in their present form. Tendered services will provide a new 16/17 as detailed below, but over a slightly different route. In the city area the Citi 4 and 6 cover much of the present route.
16 The new 16 is essentially an off-peak service running Cambridge-Haverhill via Fulbourn and Balsham. The first journey leaves Drummer Street at 08:55 for Haverhill going via Mill Road, Coleridge Road, Cherry Hinton (Robin Hood), Fulbourn Tesco, Fulbourn, Balsham, West Wratting, West Wickham, Weston Colville, Withersfield. Other journeys leave Drummer Street at 10:40, 12:40, 13:40, 14:40 and 15:40. The first inbound journey leaves Burrough Green at 09:20 with other journeys leaving Haverhill at 10:19, 12:19 and 14:19. See also the 17 and 44. Note that this service does *not* serve Teversham.
17 The new 17 provides some interleaved journeys with the 16, running between Cambridge and Newmarket via Mill Road, Coleridge Road, Cherry Hinton (Robin Hood), Fulbourn (Tesco), Teversham (one journey only each way), Fulbourn, Great Wilbraham, Little Wilbraham, Six Mile Bottom and then to Newmarket or Stetchworth. The 09:44 and 11:29 from Drummer Street run to Newmarket, whilst the 17:40 runs to Stetchworth. There are inbound journeys from Stetchworth at 07:20, Six Mile Bottom at 09:02 and Newmarket at 11:23 and 13:18. Although again chiefly an off-peak service it does have a single rush-hour service for Stetchworth to the City and return. The timetable interleaves with that of the 16 to provide an hourly off-peak service between Fulbourn, Fulbourn Tesco, Cherry Hinton (Robin Hood) and the City. Rush hour journeys are mostly provided by the 44, except for the single Stetchworth journey each way on the 17.
31 Two journeys (09:39, 13:39 plus the 15:35 on Saturdays) will be diverted to serve Little Shelford inbound, and three outbound journeys (12:35, 14:35 and 16:15) will serve Little Shelford. There may be some retiming to accomodate this route change. ***This has now been postponed until September***
32/33 The route of the 33 between Duxford and Whittlesford will be changed, but all stops should still be served. There may be some retimings. ***This has now been postponed until September***
34 A revised service is the subject of a tender. The intention is to retain hourly journeys, extending to Duxford and Whittlesford. ***This has now been postponed until September***
35 A revised service is the subject of a tender. There would be a single morning peak journey, with the afternoon peak journey to Little Shelford being provided by service 31. ***This has now been postponed until September***
44 The Stagecoach journeys will continue to run as now, providing a rush-hour complement to the 16, however the Balsham-Haverhill tender which connected with the former Stagecoach 16/17 will be withdrawn and alternate service provided by the tendered 16/17. This change is subject to the introduction of the new 16.
115 This service will be withdrawn.
N1/N2 The night bus journeys continue to run, subsidised by the City Council. Click here for timings and route details.
